At each event you’ll meet 5-10 matches, one-on-one. We keep things light and fun with extras like stand up comedy, live music, trivia or games. Everything included in your ticket fee will will be detailed on your invite. Expect that there will be at least one person there who reasonably fits within the preferences you outline to us, as well as some people who may surprise you.
Approved members are guaranteed an invite to at least one event, and VIP members will be invited to at least two. Beyond that there are no guarantees so it is best to make every effort to attend the event(s) you’re invited to. Note, it is always necessary to RSVP to an event you’re invited to whether or not you can attend. Missing/late RSVPs risk losing their membership.
Our events happen throughout CA (LA, SF, OC & SD) and are based on the right venue for the event. Given that we have members in every neighborhood, we often look for more central locations. Use this as a time to meet awesome humans that aren’t in your dating app radius and explore new venues and neighborhoods in your metro.
Valid question! Classic speed dating events allow just anyone to show up. We don’t. All of our events are by invite only with a very well thought out guest list. Our verification fee is a one-time payment that kickstarts the curation of your experience. This fee supports us in screening/vetting our members, finding entertainment and curating a truly unique experience. Learn more about our payments and fees here.

Please note, no one is entitled to a membership with us. Membership is application and approval-based and we may elect not to proceed if we do not feel that this is a strong mutual fit.

Not exactly (though we do recruit for our VIP Members). Our priority is giving you a space to discover in-person chemistry with people you have the potential to hit it off with based on mutual priorities. We take relationship goals, physical attraction, and qualities that you’re looking for all into account. Because of our low price point and volume, we don’t get as specific as you would working with a one-on-one matchmaker.
We aim to be as accessible and affordable as possible, given the human matchmaking that goes into each event. Our events start at $50 if no refreshments are included and $99+ for events that includes drinks. Each event includes hand-selected matches, private venue spaces, entertainment and games.
You’ll go on 5-10 dates for the time, effort and cost it takes to go on one date, or one night out with friends.
We measure success in 3 ways. First and foremost, we always want the event to be fun and a good use of your time. (100% success rate). 2. There should be at least one person there who you feel reasonably fits the kind of person you’d want to date (95% success rate). 3. You leave having found at least one connection you’d like to explore further (92% success rate).
Anyone 21+ can apply! We separate events by member preferences, including things like age-appropriate matches.
We host LGBTQ events quarterly. As they don’t happen as regularly, membership payment is not a prerequisite of eligibility. To express interest in our LGBTQ events, apply here. As interest grows, so will our regularity in hosting more Queer events.
Your one-time verification fee is non-refundable.
If you pay a membership fee before you’ve been approved and we decide not to move forward with your application, you will be notified via email and refunded.
If you need to cancel your RSVP to an event, your ticket price becomes credit towards a future event as long as you let us know at least 5 days in advance.
If the event is less than 5 days away, the ticket fee is completely non-refundable. No exceptions.
